If something’s still nagging at you after reading the letter, it’s probably here. If it isn’t, email neil@afterthejabs.com and a human will answer.
The Basics
What is After The Jabs?
A private membership community for life during and after GLP-1 medication. It has one job: helping you keep what you’ve won. Inside there’s a letter every weekday morning, Claire’s videos, a community of people who get it, a ladder everyone climbs together, and a method we call GLOW. What there isn’t, anywhere, is a diet.
Is this a diet?
No. We don’t have one and we’re not building one. A diet is something you finish, and the finish line is where the old weight has always come back from. We’re interested in something else entirely: the person who never diets again.
Who's behind it?
I’m Neil Atkinson, the founder. I write every daily letter in my own name, and I write every word Claire says. The other humans here are the members, and in the end they’re the best part.
Who is Claire? Is she real?
Claire is our avatar, and we say so proudly rather than hoping you won’t ask. She’s the face of ATJ’s videos: never tired, never off sick, never rushing you. Every word she says, I wrote. She does the presenting, I do the words, and she gets the perfect hair.
Is ATJ against the medication?
Not in the slightest. We think the jabs were a good decision. You’ll never be made to feel ashamed for taking them, and you’ll never be lectured by anyone who “did it the hard way.” The medication was chapter one. We’re chapter two.
Is It Right For Me
I'm still on the medication. Is it too early to join?
No. Everything inside works during the medication as well as after it. The habits you build while the jab is doing the heavy lifting are the ones waiting for you on the other side, and the best time to lay the floor is before you need to stand on it.
I've already stopped and some of the weight has come back. Have I missed my chance?
No. This is exactly who we built it for, along with the people who haven’t stopped yet. Nobody inside will judge you for a single pound. Drawing a line under the boomerang starts the day you decide to, not the day you take your last dose.
I came off a long time ago and put most of it back on. Is there any point?
Yes. The weight coming back was never proof that you failed. It was proof that the medication stopped and nothing else changed, which is what happens to almost everybody who faces that chapter alone. You won’t be facing it alone this time.
Which medication do I need to have taken?
Whichever GLP-1 medication you took, injection or tablet, by whatever brand name. ATJ doesn’t favour one over another, and it doesn’t matter where you got your prescription.
I've never taken a GLP-1. Can I still join?
No. ATJ membership is only for people who are currently taking GLP-1 medication or have taken it previously.
Is it just for women?
No. Everyone’s welcome. The voice that says “it always comes back” doesn’t check who it’s talking to.
I've had problems with disordered eating in the past. Is ATJ right for me?
Please talk to your GP before joining. ATJ never counts calories, never restricts, never praises an empty stomach and never puts a number on your worth, and our tone is deliberately gentle. But we’re a community, not a treatment service, and we’re no substitute for specialist help. If you’re struggling now, Beat, the UK’s eating disorder charity, is a good place to start: beateatingdisorders.org.uk.
How much time will it take?
Reading the daily letter takes a few minutes. Everything we ask you to do is deliberately small, small enough that it fits into an ordinary day and too small to fail. There’s no hour at the gym and no batch-cooking Sunday.
Will I have to exercise?
Nothing that needs kit, a membership or a leotard. If you can walk to the end of your road, you have everything you need.
Do I need to buy special foods, shakes or supplements?
No. We don’t sell shakes, meal replacements or supplements. Everything we talk about is real food from an ordinary supermarket, including the frozen and tinned aisles.
I'm vegetarian (or vegan, or I have dietary requirements). Will it work for me?
Yes. There’s no meal plan to clash with. The ideas inside work with whatever you eat, and most of the food we talk about is plants anyway.
I'm not very good with technology. Will I manage?
If you can open an email and tap a button, you’ll manage. ATJ works on a phone, a tablet or a computer, through your normal web browser. Nothing to install.
The Medication
Will you help me come off the medication, or tell me how to taper?
No, and that’s deliberate. Doses, side effects and coming off are medical decisions, and they belong to you and your doctor. We never advise on them, and our community doesn’t either. The taper belongs to your doctor. The habits belong to us.
What if I need to go back on the medication?
Then that’s a medical decision, not a fall from grace, and nobody inside ATJ will ever treat it as one. Your membership carries on, everything you’ve learned works alongside the medication just as well as after it, and nothing you’ve earned on the ladder is ever taken away. There is no shame door in this house.
Is anything in ATJ medical advice?
No. Everything inside is general information. Your medication, your health and your body are between you and your own doctor, and nothing we say replaces that conversation.
Are you doctors?
No, and we’d never pretend to be. ATJ isn’t a clinic. The medical side of your story belongs to your doctor. What we bring is the part no prescription has ever covered: what happens in your head, your kitchen and your week once the noise comes back.
What’s inside
What do I actually get?
A letter from me at 7.30am Monday to Friday, UK time. Claire’s videos, starting with the three minutes that take apart the belief most likely to sink you. A private community of people on every rung of the ladder. The Seven Steps, which everyone inside is climbing. The Eight Switches. A way of tracking progress that has nothing to do with the mirror. Support for hard weeks and seasonal challenges will be added as updates to the ATJ Handbook when needed, or released around specific periods such as Christmas.
What's GLOW?
Four letters, four doors, and behind them the whole method. What do they stand for? You’ll find out within your first few minutes inside. (Yes, still teasing.)
What are the Eight Switches?
Eight beliefs that quietly decide whether the weight stays off. Most of yours are probably still on. One is the master switch. One decides what happens on your first imperfect day. We switch them off, one at a time, until they can’t hurt you any more. The rest is for inside.
What's the number you track, if it isn't my weight?
A number nobody’s ever asked you for before, and it tells you far more about your future than a weigh-in. It’s revealed inside, and it’s much kinder than the scales.
Will I have to weigh in?
No. Nobody inside will ever ask what the scales said. What you do with your scales is your business.
What's the community like? Is it a Facebook group?
It isn’t Facebook. It’s a private community on our own platform, members only, with no adverts, no algorithm and no strangers wandering in. The rules are short: be kind, no shaming anyone (including yourself), no medical advice, and no selling.
Do I have to post?
No. You’re welcome to read quietly for as long as you like. Most people find that the first post is the hardest one, and the replies make every one after it easier.
Will other people see my weight or my photos?
Nobody is asked for their weight, and our progress system does not collect weight figures. You only share photos with the community if you choose to.
I've joined midweek. Will I have missed things?
No. Every daily letter stands on its own, so you can start on any day of the week. Daily emails are archived in Daily Resources and Resource Archive in your ATJ dashboard, where you can access them at any time while you have membership access.
Is there one-to-one coaching?
Not as part of this membership.
Money And Membership
How much does it cost?
Membership is £27 a month, including applicable taxes. Your price only ever moves one way for you, and that way is down. If we raise it, you stay at £27. If we ever lower it, you drop with us. That holds for as long as you stay a member. Checkout displays the exact total and currency before you pay.
What does the monthly fee cover?
It is a considered purchase. The monthly fee gives you the daily letters, videos, private community and progress tools described on the joining page. It is support for building habits and understanding, rather than a promise of a particular weight or result.
Is there a contract?
It is a recurring monthly membership. You can cancel future renewals from your dashboard at any time; your current paid access continues until its expiry date.
How do I cancel?
Open your ATJ dashboard and go to My Profile → Membership. Select “Cancel membership renewals”, tick the confirmation box and choose “Confirm cancellation”. This stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of your current paid period. Cancelling renewals does not itself issue a refund. If you need help, email neil@afterthejabs.com.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. Everything we sell, including the membership, comes with a 30-day no quibble guarantee. If After The Jabs isn’t for you, email neil@afterthejabs.com within 30 days of your first payment and your payment is refunded in full. No form, no reason needed. After the first 30 days you can cancel at any time and no further payments are taken, though payments already made for earlier months aren’t refunded. And if you leave and come back, you’ll be very welcome. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is no free trial. Membership is £27 a month, including applicable tax.
Can I pause my membership?
No. Membership cannot be paused. You can cancel future renewals and rejoin later using the same account. And if you leave and come back, you’ll be very welcome. For help, email neil@afterthejabs.com.
Privacy And The Small Print
Will anyone know I've joined?
ATJ is a private member community. Other members can see your display name, profile image and anything you choose to post, subject to your privacy settings. You can hide your first and last name by selecting Only me in My Profile → Account → Privacy settings and saving your choice. Membership is not publicly listed on the open website. Card payments are securely processed by Stripe. ATJ does not store your full card details, and your payment documents are not shared with other members. You can view invoices and update your payment card in the Membership section of your dashboard. Your payment will still appear on your bank or card statement, and someone with access to your email or statements may see it.
What happens to my data?

Why do you ask for my postal address?
We ask for your address at signup to determine the applicable tax for your country, included in your membership price. Everything in ATJ is provided online, downloaded or accessed through your dashboard.
Can I join from outside the UK?
Yes. ATJ is available worldwide, including the UK, America, the EU and all other countries. Everything is accessed online through your dashboard or downloaded.
